Monon Trail

The Westfield section of the Monon Trail is a 2.9 mile regional rail trail, offering direct trail connection to downtown Indianapolis on completed segments. Westfield's section, which runs parallel between US-31 and Oak Ridge Road, is paved asphalt from 146th Street to 161st Street. The newest section of the Monon Trail, from 161st Street moving west towards Oak Ridge Road, is 12' wide compacted stone. This section connects to the Midland Trace Trail at Quaker Park, an excellent place to pick up the trail with many amenities. The Monon trailhead is located at 1155 East Greyhound Pass and features parking, bike racks, benches, restrooms, and a drinking fountain.
