Utility Relocation Work & Scheduled Power Outage – March 19 & April 4

Grassy Branch Marketplace (Commercial Development)

Beginning Monday, March 19, 2018, Westfield motorists can expect intermittent, short-term lane restrictions along Grassy Branch Road immediately north of State Road 32.  These traffic restrictions will be implemented as needed during electrical utility relocations that are required as part of the development work for the forthcoming Grassy Branch Marketplace commercial development at the northeast corner of SR 32 and Grassy Branch Road.

Additionally, Duke Energy has planned a scheduled power outage to transfer electrical service to new poles which are being set in this area.  This outage will interrupt electrical service for approximately 3-5 hours and affect both businesses and residents along Grassy Branch Road between SR 32 north to 191st Street.  The outage is scheduled to begin at 11:00 pm Wednesday April 4th and continue until work is completed in the early hours of Thursday, April 5th.  If work is unable to be performed on April 4th, it will be rescheduled for April 5th/6th, 2018.  Affected customers may contact Duke Energy Customer Care Operations with concerns at 1-800-521-2232.
