Westfield Town Manager, Jerry Rosenberger, announced that two Westfield Police Officers have been officially promoted.  Captain R. Scott Jordan, an 11 year veteran with the Westfield Police Department, has been promoted to Major, and Lieutenant Bobbie Gorrell, a 19 year veteran, has been promoted to Captain.  The promotion ceremony took place on Friday, December 15 at the Westfield Police Department. 

"These promotions are well deserved for these two individuals," says Assistant Police Chief Mike Allen.  "Their loyalty and dedication over the years has been motivating and influential to all the officers and staff, and the community of Westfield is fortunate to have these officers managing the day-to-day operations," says Allen. 

Jordan will be supervising and managing the daily operations and activities of both the Patrol and Investigations Divisions.  Gorrell will be responsible for the overall supervision and management of all uniformed officers in the Patrol Division.

"With the rapid growth rate of Westfield, it is important that we have a management team who can keep up with the needs of the community," says Jerry Rosenberger, Westfield Town Manager.  The residents of Westfield can be confident that these two individuals have the experience and the knowledge to get the job done, and done well."
