Civilian Fire Merit Board
The voluntary Merit Board is responsible for reviewing all of the personnel actions associated with the Westfield Fire Department. This includes initial hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions and demotions. The Merit Board meets on a quarterly basis and consists of local residents and a representative from the City Attorney's office.
