Deputy Chief of Operations is responsible for developing, administering, and evaluating the training of the Department as well as the Safety of fire ground operations. It is the responsibility of the Operations Division to ensure that the members of our organization meet all of the mandated criterion set forth by local, state, and federal guidelines.

While WFD crews were finishing up from a recent structure fire, Sergeant Harrell from WPD was able to show some future fire fighters our equipment. We're sure the kids were almost as excited as he was to be inside a . We greatly appreciate WPD using their free time while we worked to further our recruitment
