Criminal Investigations

The Westfield Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is responsible for completing investigations of major crimes resulting from case reports initiated by the first responding officer. All sworn CID personnel start their law enforcement careers as uniformed patrol officers and are assigned to CID based upon their knowledge, experience, and investigative ability. The CID staff has decades of law enforcement experience and is led by Captain James Lilly. Under his supervision are Detective Gregory Marlow, Detective Brett Bays, Detective Tony Howard, Detective Rob Dine, and Criminalist Charles Blackford.
