FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Westfield, IN - The City of Westfield is pleased to announce that Westfield Rocks the Fourth, presented by Citizens Energy Group, will be celebrated on Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th at Grand Park Sports Campus from 5 – 10 p.m. both days.

Westfield Rocks the 4th features food, music and fun for the entire family. Attendees can enjoy food and drinks from food trucks, free concerts and a beautiful fireworks display. Jennie DeVoe and Toy Factory will kick off the festivities on Sunday, July 3rd and Barometer Soup takes the Main Stage on Monday, July 4th. While the event is free to attendees, the Kids Zone area requires wristbands, which can be purchased online or at the event; wristbands are $10 each day or $15 for both days.

“Citizens Energy Group is committed to helping make the communities we serve better places to live, work, and play,” said Citizens Energy Group President & CEO Jeffrey Harrison. “As such, Citizens is proud to be the presenting sponsor of this year’s Westfield Rocks the 4th.”

New to the event this year is a Kids Stage that will feature Mik the Music Man, magic shows and demonstrations. Westfield Welcome has also partnered with Indiana Army National Guard to have additional inflatables and activities for older kids in the Kids Zone. Bullpen Tournaments will also be hosting their College All-Star Baseball Game on Diamond 1 beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 4th.

“We are thrilled Westfield Rocks the 4th continues to grow each year since we kicked it off in 2010. This is a wonderful opportunity for our residents and visitors to connect and celebrate the holiday,” said Mayor Andy Cook.
