Bob is a 30-year Hoosier, having relocated, with his wife Tammie, from Westlake , Ohio , to The Village Farms in Washington Township after accepting a Tenant Coordinator position with Melvin Simon and Associates (now Simon Property Group) in November 1987.

Bob was married in 1983, and now enjoys family life with four children - Chad, Emily,  Adam and Neil. Bob's family also includes a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Calico cat.

Bob's community service started with a two-term/ six year stint on The Village Farms Board of Directors, including four years as president. Shortly after ending his neighborhood work Bob was appointed to the Westfield-Washington Township Plan Commission where he served for six years, including two years as vice-president and was serving as president when Westfield 's Southwest Annexation caused him to no longer be eligible for a Township appointment. As Bob remained interested in continuing his community service, he felt it was a natural progression to run for Town Council, and is now looking forward to serving interests of all residents, not just residents of District 5, to create a better Westfield .

As a result of his familiarity with Planning and Zoning issues gleaned from his years on the Plan Commission, it is natural that a key focus of Bob's Town Council work will be on improving quality and efficiency of planning and zoning in Westfield and Washington Township.

Bob also has helped Westfield Youth Sports, assisting coaches for several of his children's teams, has chaired a church building committee, and is a regular donor working on his 8th gallon at the Central Indiana regional Blood Center.
Bob was honored to serve as City Council Vice-President for two consecutive years (2008-2009).
